The Front Steps Project Helps Kids in Need While You’re Home with Your Own Family
UPDATE: After having the privilege of photographing almost 100 amazing families in Connecticut, my last Front Steps Photos Sessions will be May 31st. It’s been an honor be a small part of helping those who need it.
Let’s come together to create a greater good out of being forced to be apart. To do my small bit to help in these stressful times, I’m offering Front Steps Project Portraits for families in Newtown, CT. For a donation to any COVID-19 charity, you’ll receive a digital file of your family’s own front porch photo to print, share, or post.
As a family photographer, I aim to capture special moments to remember the good times in life, but sometimes things get turned upside down.
What will your kids remember of this mixed-up, crazy, scary and extraordinary time in their lives?
- We were the lucky ones. We were the ones with a warm home to shelter in, with food to fill the pantry, and time to spend together.
- We did the right thing. Even though we were forced to be apart, we all came together to make it a little better for kids and families who weren’t so fortunate.

- Make a donation to a COVID-19 related charity (Any amount you feel comfortable with)
- I’ll swing by and do a brief photo session of your and your crew at your front door
- After your session I’ll email you the digital file of your portrait
- Your photo will be posted on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #frontstepsproject
This isn’t a typical family photo session! You don’t have to get dressed up, unless you want to. It will only take about 5 minutes and I’ll be photographing you from at least 10 feet away. In your jammies? Yoga pants? Superhero outfit? It’s all good. Let’s represent your family, how they are right now, this very instant, together.
