I know that there was L-O-V-E in the air, because this August and September has yielded a bumper crop of beautiful babies in the area!
Terrific Twins
There is absolutely nothing that I love to photograph more than boy-girl twins! This lovely couple of cuties from Danbury made their debut a little on the early side, but they sure came through with more than double the cuteness. They were ready and willing to take on their newborn photography session at home, in fact, they slept through the entire session! Yay, mom.

Summer House and Baby at Candlewood Lake
This baby wanted to join her family summering at Candlewood Lake this summer, so she came a little early, to enjoy the sun and fun. Even though her permanent home is the Big Apple, she got to spend her first summer by the lake with her brother and sister.
Nice to meet you, sis.
Her early arrival led to the cancellation of her mother’s maternity photo session, but we were able to get a newborn photography session in. It was so special to photograph baby right next to the gorgeous view of Candlewood Lake.

Not Quite Newborn Photography
Who says that baby photography has to be done right after birth? This mom in Danbury wanted her baby photography session to be when everything was a bit calmer, and baby was about one month old. That’s a great choice, especially for families with older siblings who are not quite ready to jump into a photo session right after giving birth.

This little cute was ready to rock and roll when I came to her home for her baby photo session at home. And so was big sister who loved on her so much it was hard to keep her away!
Photos at one month are not going to be typical curled up sleepy newborn shots, but they are able to show baby’s true personality starting to emerge. This little girl is a true sweetheart, just like big sis.
