The Cherish Baby Portrait Program
“We love the pictures. Oh my gosh! You are very talented.” —Betsy R.
“Working with you was such a pleasure — you completely put me (a first time mom) at ease and
you knew just exactly what to do…” —Cindy G.
Start telling your baby’s story…
Every stage in a baby’s life is new and amazing. Time rushes by so quickly in the first year. If you want to capture your baby’s entire first year in photos to remember forever, the Cherish Baby Portrait Program is just what you need.
Cherish sessions are usually done at newborn (under 2 weeks), 5–8 months (sitting) and 1 year (standing). A Maternity Session add-on is available to start telling your baby’s story in photos from the very beginning. The maternity photo session is usually done at the beginning of the third trimester.
The Cherish Baby Portrait Program has been designed to capture the special milestones in your baby’s first year in beautiful photographs for you to treasure forever. There are no “standard” set-ups or poses. Since each baby portrait session is unique, we can play with different outfits, props, and backgrounds. Or, make it a family affair — siblings and parents are welcome to join in. New parents do not need to travel out in the cold to a distant studio, I photograph all newborn babies and their families in their own home and older babies at home or on location.
A huge selection of contemporary birth announcements are available through my Minted.com storefront.
When is the best time to plan your baby’s first photos? As soon as you know when you’re due! As babies are known to be extremely unpredictable (I have stories!…) please don’t wait until the last minute to contact me. My schedule is booked well in advance, so please plan ahead and email me to book at least 4-6 weeks before your due date. The best photos of newborn babies are taken within the first 2 weeks of birth (the first 7-10 days is best) so contacting me ahead will let me keep some flexibility in my schedule to photograph your newborn before time starts to slip away.
