2012 — A year in photos (kind of)

Thank you to all my fabulous family photography clients who have given me the privilege of entering their private lives for just a little while to capture some great memories! I am very lucky to do what I truly love—working with great families, making great photos, and having fun every day.

2012 was a difficult time for many families in Newtown and Connecticut. As a Sandy Hook resident for 17 years, my heart was broken with the tragedy in my community. But I know the strength of the families, community, and the teachers of Newtown. I know that we will honor the spirit of the special people who will never be forgotten.

This tragedy makes me appreciate even more the chances that I have been given as a family portrait photographer to capture special memories of the good times (for the most part…) of each family that chooses me to photograph them.

So, thanks! I’ll keep doing what I do best, working with the very special babies, children, and families of Connecticut who let me peek into their world for a short time. It’s been a GREAT year.
