Beach Mini Sessions are (finally) Happening!
Summertime is the perfect time for beach mini sessions, and with the unbelievably fickle weather, we’ve had to wait until now to really get things going. Thanks, and a BIG shout out, to all of my families that have been incredibly patient and flexible in the scheduling.
We’ve hung in there and have been able to get a few days of no rain and awesome morning light off the water at Silver Sands State Park in Milford.
Hazy days are the best for lighting a beach mini session.
Morning is turning out to be the best time of day for beach mini sessions this year for a few reasons. First, families with kids get up early and are fresh and ready to go first thing. Also, I happen to be a morning person, and I hit the ground running (ready to run after toddlers!) by 9am.
Most importantly, the light at the beach is so lovely and the water is sublimely calm and relaxing before the day really gets going.
Morning is a great time for happy babies at your beach mini session.
Even though the beach is always popular in the summer, in the morning it is much less crowded than late in the day. We’ve practically had the beach to ourselves for the last two beach mini session days. It’s fun and relaxing to come down and play in the sand without having to elbow your way down to the water.
There’s room to roam if you have your beach mini session early.
